INCLUDE A BIO ABOUT YOURSELF AND THE WORK THAT YOU DO AND
HAVE DONE THAT IS 300-500 WORDS IN LENGTH.
- SEND US A LINK TO YOUR WEBSITE OR REFERENCES TO YOUR WORK
ONLINE. BE SURE THE LINK WORKS. IF IT DOESN'T TAKE US DIRECTLY
TO THE PAGE WHERE YOUR WORK IS LOCATED, INCLUDE A DESCRIPTION
OF HOW TO NAVIGATE THE WEBSITE SO WE CAN FIND YOUR WORK
EASILY. WE
DO NOT REQUIRE THAT YOU HAVE YOUR OWN WEBSITE, BUT IT IS
A PLUS.
- YOU MAY EMAIL IMAGES, WRITING SAMPLES, RESUMES, AND OTHER
WEB-SAFE, VIRUS FREE FILES AS LONG AS THEY ARE NOT LARGER
THAN 4MB. IF NEEDED, SEND MORE THAN ONE EMAIL AND ATTACH
DIFFERENT FILES TO EACH EMAIL, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF WHAT
THE ATTACHMENTS ARE IN THE BODY OF THE EMAIL.

For Visual Artists/Designers (Still Work, both Commercial
and Non-Commmercial):
DO NOT SEND ORIGINAL WORK! WE DO NOT RETURN WORK SUBMISSIONS,
UNLESS YOU REQUEST THAT WE DO SO, AND PROVIDE A SELF-ADDRESSED
STAMPED ENVELOPE THAT WILL COVER POSTAL FEES.
If
you do not have a website: you may send actual work samples
if your work is reproduced, but we prefer to see work on slides.
Please clean and submit in slide sleeves. We will scan your
slides for you if you are chosen to be recognized as diva
of the month, and give you a CD-ROM back-up of your slide
scans.
If you have a high quality slide scanner or a slide adapter
for your high-quality scanner...
1. Scan slides at 300dpi or higher. No smaller than 2"x3",
or 600x900 pixels, RGB Color mode.
2. Save files as photoshop or TIF format.
3. Organize into folders the way you prefer your work to be
grouped (eg. by show, year, type of work, etc.)
4. DO NOT COMPRESS FOR WEB, WE WILL DO IT FOR YOU!
5. Dust and scratches? Too dark? Too light? Not enough contrast?
If you slides need clean-up, let us fix it for you, unless
you have professional experience as a photo retoucher.
6. Submit on a CD that is MAC/Windows compatible.

Performance Artists:
Send
us a VHS copy of your performance. If you can show us more
than one, or if you can edit together samples of different

your performances as well. Be sure the link works. If it doesn't

making the music was (eg. producer, remixer, DJ, drummer,
