This fundraiser will be the first of three multi-media events in this summer’s Garden Series brought to you by United Divas. Dig, Sprout, & Blossom will not only feature artists from the United Divas organization, but several other talented individuals and groups as well. The ground-breaking first event, Dig, establishes our roots, bringing in the necessary nutrients for us to Sprout. OUR MISSION
To empower women to become artistic leaders, professionals, innovators, and role models for both aspiring and practicing artists.

BACKGROUND
United Divas grew from a loose idea between friends to promote ourselves and our talented acquaintances into a creative organization of diversely disciplined artists. We began seeking out female artists by attending events ranging from gallery shows to coffee shops and multi-media events. As we continued our search, we discovered that there were indeed many women accomplishing major feats in the arts that we could learn from and be inspired by, but the more amazing part was that most of them were combining several talents to serve their artistic needs, successfully captivating the attention of their audiences and contributing to the overall success of their many careers.

Soon, our mission became more specific. We decided not just to promote female artists, but to support and nurture female role models who possessed the artistic skill sets that would position them as future cultural leaders. Indeed, it is these artists who combine talents from more than one artistic discipline who emerge with a style that stands out as their own and become tomorrow's leaders and innovators.

United Divas’ goal for 2004 is to file all of the necessary paperwork for 501C3 Non-Profit status so we can operate as a non-profit organization. This will allow United Divas to formalize our goals to empower women with a greater ability to seek out funding such as grants and donations. United Divas hosts a variety of events throughout the year as well as maintaining an online gallery to continue to gain exposure for our artists and their work.
