Diane Farr :: April 2004 Diva of the Month :: |
 |
Congratulations
to Diane
Farr, of Los Angeles, our "Diva of the Month"
for April 2004! Read
Diane's interview to find out about Diane's
knack for instructing boys how to put on condoms. Check
out her bio, Born in Manhattan and raised in Brooklyn
and Long Island, check out her bio to learn about this cutting-edge
voice.
Diane made her television debut on Silk Stalkings, and starred
in the Broadway show, No Place Like Home. Eight days after
the show closed, she moved to Los Angeles and soon was cast
on Loveline. A Broadway actress and former prison drama
teacher, she is a familiar face on prime-time television
as the co-star on Denis Leary’s The Job.
Her book, The
Girl Code, is a “dating dictionary.” The
Girl Code is part not-so-secret code, part code of silence
(remember: Never admit to collecting boyfriend T-shirts),
and part code of honor (girlfriends never ditch each other
at a singles bar, no matter what). As funny as it is familiar,
The Girl Code is ultimately a tribute to girlfriends everywhere.

Champagne Catwalk
@ El Cid, 4212 Sunset Blvd., Silverlake
Her
clothing line, " We Are Lucid Dreaming, " will be closing
this event on the last saturday( April 17). Some
of LA's funkiest emerging designers show their Fall 2004 collections
to Saturday brunchers in a campy restaurant. LA.com sponsors the
series to give independent designers a platform (and so we can drink
mimosas on the clock).
The Champagne Catwalk brings a series of four fashion events to
the historic El Cid restaurant, and you don't need to be a card-carrying
fashionista to attend. The shows are free entertainment for brunch
customers.
Please go to www.la.com
.... Go under search and type in the word Champagne for more info
and the press release.
