Pamela Z is a composer/performer who makes solo works combining a wide range of vocal techniques with electronic processing, sampled sounds, and The BodySynth™ gesture controller. She has also composed scores for dance, film, and new music chamber ensembles. Her audio works have been presented in exhibitions at the Whitney in NY and the Diözesanmuseum in Cologne. She has toured throughout the US, Europe, and Japan in concerts and festivals including Bang on a Can, the Japan Interlink Festival, Other Minds, and the Venice Biennale. Her numerous awards include a Guggenheim Fellowship, the CalArts Alpert Award, the ASCAP Award, and the NEA/JUSFC Fellowship. Learn more by checking out her full Bio.

Seeking guest speakers for panels and Q&A sessions at Winter Music Conference 2005
Why:
To inform and educate creative professionals about key issues facing professionals and motivated hobbyists in the music business.
The plan:
4 speakers for 15 minutes each
2 speakers for 30-minute Q&A sessions

7-9pm, Friday, March 25, 2005

South Beach Miami, FL

Design Assistants
Are you web savvy? We have an immediate need for design assistants to help with the completion of our new website design. The perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build up your resume and portfolio. Experience with flash and dreamweaver a plus. Please email your resume and links to online work samples to referrals@uniteddivas.com. Attached samples are okay as long as the total size of attachments is under 1mB.
