Congratulations to Tracey Luszcz , of Jersey City, NJ, our "Diva of the Month" for July & August 2004! Tracey went to school at Rutgers. She excels as a poet, photographer and teacher for both elementary school & grad students. Check out Tracey's interview to discover why she is traveling in Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam . An activist of all sorts, Tracey's poetry expresses her concern with many political issues. Fascinated with the organization of politics and the people, Tracey specializes in documenting gatherings and people in her photography.

Connecting people each week at JUNKTION, this week we are providing a place for you to wind down after the holiday weekend.
Didn’t compress enough? Get together some more... Or, if you just want to go out to have a few drinks & hear a few tunes with friends, there are plenty of places to chill & enjoy yourself at the JUNKTION. With no cover charge, JUNKTION is a place where people can dance, relax, and enjoy select drinks without the “Hollywood tax” on Wednesday nights.

EVENTS UPDATE

After our first month of testing out our new Message Board, United Divas has decided to list all of our events in the new events section of our message board. We will be switching over all events links for the website over the next few weeks. Now you can keep up with changes in events, ask questions, plan your outing with friends and make new acquaintances by posting your interests & concerns on the message board.

Promoters and artists, feel free to post your events on our Message Board. Please note though, our website is dedicated to the arts, with the main focus being on women artists. We do not require that your event is for women or by women, but events that feature women artists will most likely generate a better response than those that don't. So, please keep your event posts relevant to the interests of our members. Although any registered member is welcome ot post, United Divas reserves the right to delete events that seem inappropriate. Guidelines for the types of events we accept will be sent to persons posting inappropriate events.

:: Are you interested in helping out with United Divas?

We need all kinds of people to help us continue to expand our growing organization! Please email us with a statement of intent or why you are interested in becoming part of United Divas to referrals@uniteddivas.com. Samples of your artwork are welcomed as well if you are interested in helping us maintain our website.
