I
love the carribean
Green locked inside
An avocado.
In
Canaima, I stooped down
To watch
The warrior ants
Shrouded in green leaves
Busily marching off to
Feed and shelter
Their colonies
Carrying a burden
1000 times their weight.
Their inscription into nature.
I
knew this as instruction.
I
don’t know how else to show myself to you.
